Proposed 3 Day Program:

DAY 1:
At beginning of day: whole school assembly for approximately 45-60 min. to present 3 or 4 of Lynn's picture books on slides with interactive readings and then to read one picture book aloud with selected students performing it as a simple play with simple props. School needs to provide slide projector and screen (set up and ready to use), microphone, plus the assembly will need to be held in a location that can be made dark for the slides to show.

Additional Concerns/Thoughts:
--School will need to schedule each day's sessions; time ranges are suggestions & may be adjusted by 5 min. or so per class in order to fit in all classes during each day.
--If there are multi-grades which overlap different grade levels above, decide which activities seem most appropriate & consult with Lynn as needed.
--School will need to make copies of handouts for students; Lynn will provide initial handouts to be copied.
--After all grades have finished their stories, teachers may want to set up a "buddy share" at some point where students from different grades can pair up and read each other their stories & K-2 students can act out their story as a play for older students. This sharing will be after Lynn has finished her residency, but still might be a nice culminating activity.
--It would be helpful if students would wear name tags when Lynn visits classrooms.
--Parents are welcome anytime during the residency (perhaps invite to opening assembly).
