SOME COMMENTS ON LYNN PLOURDE'S AUTHOR VISITS & BOOKS

"Lynn, you write good. If I was your teacher, I would give you an A+." (4th grade student)

"Lynn was excellent. My students couldn't believe a real author wanted to know about their writing." (Gr. 1 teacher)

"Assembly was great, and hands-on approach in classroom was super." (Gr. 3 teacher)

"Lynn's books are like word sundaes with extra whipped cream and a cherry on top!" (Gr. 2 teacher)

"She was a joy to watch while working with students, and she showed me how exciting you can make writing for students." (Gr. 2 teacher)

"I appreciated her practical writing suggestions. Plus her enthusiasm was contagious-a real motivator!" (Gr. 5 teacher)

"I learned that Lynn is not just an author. She is a super teacher and has as much to offer teachers as she does kids!" (Gr. 1 teacher)

"My students haven't stopped talking about her. Better yet, without my direction or nudging, several students have independently started planning stories on their own using her 3P plan." (Gr. 2 teacher)

"When we returned to class, the kids were so excited and asked if they could start writing stories immediately. I myself felt like sitting right down and beginning my own story." (substitute teacher)

"I thought she was absolutely the BEST author I have ever seen. Lynn was amazing. She spoke so clearly to the students and set some wonderful boundaries for them as well. I loved how she walked them through the whole writing process. It was truly the most amazing author I have ever had the pleasure of hearing." (Gr. 2 teacher)
