Classroom Listening and Speaking 5-6 is an oral language program with 150 whole-class/group activities for children in grades 5-6. This program is designed to be used during regular fifth and sixth grade programming with activities in the following content areas:

  · Reading & Literature Activities
· Writing & Language Arts
· Math
· Science
· Social Studies
· Humanities (art, music, & drama)
· Living Skills (cooking, consumer, & career skills)
· Study Skills (memorizing, note taking)
 

Each section contains:

· SKILLS CHART-a list of all activities for each section and the specific oral language skills that they target (e.g. categorization skills, oral presentation skills, small group communication)

· REPRODUCIBLE LOGS-pages to copy and note the date and comments for completed activities

· HOMEWORK ACTIVITIES-reproducible pages to send home with students which include homework activities related to curriculum areas and usually involve family participation
